About Fountain

Fountain was established in January 2003 by Andrew Curtis to meet a simple, outstanding need: for impartial, independent guidance on personal finance free from the pressures of target or commission driven sales.

Andrew has 25 years' experience at a senior level in investment, financial planning, and private banking, and is therefore well placed to deliver broad, generic advice. He is familiar with the corporate world and the objectives of business owners and executives.

He was a senior executive at stockbrokers Sheppards & Chase. At NatWest Stockbrokers he was Director of the Corporate Services Division, then Director of the Private Client Division. He headed the investment units within the private client departments of major regional solicitors Clarke Willmott & Clarke, and then Lester Aldridge. Most recently he was a private banker with Coutts & Co. A Fellow of the Securities & Investment Institute, he holds the Certificate of the Personal Finance Society, and is a member of the Personal Finance Society and of the Institute of Financial Planning.
