  Why is it so hard to find the help that I need?
Many sources of financial advice are driven by sales and commission targets; all are being forced by change, complexity and compliance to become more specialised. It is no criticism to suggest that there is little to reward them in the service you seek.

Why do I need Fountain as well as my other advisers?
Few of them offer a holistic service covering all your needs and, as we have seen above, there are other constraints. I have given substantial, compliant help to my clients, as the testimonials confirm.

Why are there not more people doing what Fountain does?
The financial services industry faces wide ranging change, and is responding very slowly to the growing demand for generic advice rather than product push.

Why is Fountain not authorised?
Because I choose not to be. Fountain does not arrange financial or investment products, give specific advice, or in any way control, limit or restrict clients' options, and so is not required to be authorised. I offer entirely generic advice, and refer clients to authorised advisers whenever necessary.

What services does Fountain offer?
A consultancy which involves a full factfind, further routine meetings as appropriate, as much telephone or e-mail consultation as required, and such facilitation with authorised providers as may be necessary; a variation of this for the elderly which offers regular meetings; and a half day review facility to address specific issues.
